Emergencies will, of course, be given priority at all times. Do remember that people can become suddenly and extremely unwell. In such circumstances it will be more appropriate to contact the Ambulance Service on 999.  We do try and see very sick children as soon as they arrive at the surgery without them having to wait.  Please bare with us if this causes delay to your appointment.

Out of Hours and NHS Direct Wales

When it's URGENT but not life threatening please phone:    111

NHS Direct Wales and your local GP out-of-hours service now share this easy to remember number.

It's free and will help you find the right advice, support and treatment.

Home Visits

Visits at home are designed for the truly house bound and terminally ill. While we appreciate the difficulties this can cause, there are few circumstances in which someone is really too unwell to come to the surgery, especially so with children. Equipment at the surgery enables us to provide a more thorough examination than at home.  Also, we are able to see an average of 4 patients at the surgery for each home visit. Offering transport to friends or neighbours when they need to visit the doctor is a “good deed” which we might all remember.

If you do need a visit at home, please telephone before 10:30 a.m. if possible.
